Pioneer DVR-1910LS and Clonecd problems...

ok had the new pioneer DVR-1910LS installed and is working fine except for one thing.

I made a 1:1 image of Strange Wilderness with Clonecd 5.3.1.0 and intend to burn it with Clonecd but I get a message asking me if I want to try Overburning. Why is this if I am using a Verb DL disc? It has plenty of space as it is a blank DL disc.

What settings do I need to change to fix this.My new burner is up to date on firmware which is version 1.01.My AnyDvd is up to date as well 6.4.2.6

I replaced my old Pioneer DVR-108 because it could no longer burn DL discs and now this problem.

This is the message I received.....IMAGE doesn't fit on destination disc!
Space available: 7859 Mbyte (126:14:33 Min:Sec:Fra)
Space required: 4482 Mbyte (254:1:29 Min:Sec:Fra)
Please select how to procede

Try to Overburn
Write until the end of the media is reached

What can I do to fix this?

Welcome to CDF's:

I don't know how to solve your problem but your DVR-1910LS is really an Asus rebadge. Pioneer doesn't make drives with LightScribe. Pioneers make drives with LableFlash.

Re: Pioneer DVR-1910LS and Clonecd problems...

I believe it's telling you that a DL DVD is not required and will fit on a standard DVD with no compression required. This feature saves you the cost of a DL DVD VS a Standard DVD. Hope this helps..........
