Uhh Perfect Copy is just a 'mere' copy protection-scanner which will help you determine the right CloneCD settings for each protection... However your burner does have to support these settings so it won't help you Perfect Copy can be found on http://www.perfectportal.dk/ if you still want to check it out.

Read this thread. Com2 may or may not have SafeDisc 2 on the third disc. If you're lucky it's unprotected. If you're unlucky you need to bypass the SD2 protecttion since your burner doesn's support SD2. For info on this read this article.

The settings for SafeDisc 1 and 2 are the same. Just enable Fast Error Skip. The difference between SafeDisc 1 and 2 are explained in the mentioned article. SafeDisc 1 is a breeze compared to SafeDisc 2.

But I doubt Commando's 2 uses SafeDisc 1 though... Almost all new games use SafeDisc 2 as their protection and I'm almost 100% sure Commando's 2 also uses SafeDisc 2.

If so then i can use BetaBlocker to back-up commandos 2.

But in the article they say that commandos 2 has safe Disc 1.

But txs anyway. I'm just going to try.

G O where you you live ? (Almost) all new games that are released in Europe (where I live) will have SafeDisc 2 as their protection

I live in Australia and generally get the games a few days before release as I have a friend who manages a Games store.

Lucky bast... I guess Australia still uses the old protections. Maybe piracy isn't very big in your country (I wouldn't know, never been there ).

I know a semi-professional game reviewer I get to see titles a few months out. Cheats are always revealed to the reviewers and I have to make sure he never tells me because, well, that's cheating Unfortunately, most of the titles are unprotected for several reasons and so I am often in the dark as most punters are about what prot it will be. However, if you learn to identify the major ones you can reduce coasters in the long run.
