I think you mean SD 2.40.xx here - my 4804te can't do never SD revisions than 2.40.xx with CDmate or CLONECD.

For SDS 2.51.xx you will need a writer capeable of writing emf bit patterens perfectly

Because you mention copying sd 2.etc a plextor may not be the way to go. Lite-on's are the best at copying game protections. I moved up from a 4804te to a 40125S (40x). And im happy as can be. Decide what you want to copy more, games or audio cds.

yeah the 40 x liteon is probably ur bast bet.
i would go for the 40125w istead of the 40125s

The asus [40 or 48 x] seems good - i cant remember if they can do SD2.51 ?? anyone know?

I think FutureProof's sticky at the top of this forum says it all - "ASUS CRW-4012A does SD2.51.021 ".
