I have exhausted myself on this one. Any help?

Running:
Windows XP Pro
Samsung CD-R/RW SW-240B
Clone CD 4.2.0.2
Ahead Nero Burning ROM Express

Master of Orion III is protected by SecuROM 4.84.50.0030.

In order to produce a backup you'll need to either use the CloneCD/Twinpeak method (my first choice), the Alcohol RMPS method, or Blindwrite with a BWA.

Well, it worked the second time I started the game, but it won't run anymore... should I re-burn it? Or just keep trying, i've tried like 40 times.

We need more information...

How did you back it up? With what software? Etc.

I used to CloneCD Twinpeak method, there were a bunch of spikes on the bwa but they were after 75000... the disc is clean, so i don't know... I decided to reburn it at 1x using CloneCD on the Game Profile. We'lls ee how that goes.

The problem could be with the BWA you made or with the Twin sector step.

What did you select...15? 15 works for most, but not all. If the BWA if fine, then try 50 if 15 didn't work with your drive.

If the problem is with your BWA (it probably is), then you may want to try
BWA Edit. It works quite well.

I'm going to try this Bwaedit thign... but what am I looking for? I don't really know what I have to do to it.

You're looking to produce a smooth curve... There's a short tutorial on the website where you download the program.
