madden 2k3 burning question (I am LOST !!!!, please help me find myself)

Alright, I am trying to find out how to do this and i have looked through all the threads and I am still lost.

--->my Madden SD2 SAGA
I bought the orignal (yes, i did) and I wanted to make a backup copy so that I wouldn't scratch the original. I used CloneCD4 with the GAME profile (this is before I new about SD2) and burned the game. It worked fine in my machine without errors on both my cdrw and cdrom drives. I went to try it out on my laptop at work to show a friend and boom, "please insert game cd". I didn't know what was up because it worked just fine on both drives on my system at home.
I then learned about SD2, I was amazed at how it worked compared to SD1. I then downloaded the newer CloneCD4 (including SD2 settings) profiles on the board here and am planning on trying them.

-->> Here is my million $ question before I make a bunch of coasters?????

I have an ACER 8432a burner and a Lite-on LTN486 48x max cdrom. Now having the profiles (with and without AWS setups), how do i copy the game. Do I use my burner to copy with the no AWS profile and burn it with the no AWS profile. Or, do i read it with AWS help profile on the Lite-On and burn it without AWS profile on my Acer? Basically, with my hardware, what combination(s) do I use (software and/or hardware) to make the copy work. I use kodak gold media. AND, can I use this Daemon Tools program to check the validity of the copy before burning it and if so, where can i get the program at?

There are so many combinations that can be put together here that I am at a loss. I really need help from someone who knows more about this than me.

Any help someone out there could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Jeff

According to Elby's your acer is only one sheep burner for correct efm encoding. You must enable aws to have a chance to burn safedisk 2.51 and above correctly. Try reading and writing at slow speed and if playing from a burner make sure "hide cdr media " is checked in clonecd tray.

Update your writer's firmware to the latest version, and make sure you use it as the reader. Then use either Scout or ClonyXXL to detect and import the correct settings to CloneCD.

Download ClonyXXL 2.0.0.6 here | Mirror

Download Scout 2.2 Final Full here

Hope this helps,
