Lord of the Rings with CloneCD 4202..

Tried backing this game up last night, Blindwrite Suite wouldn't start up, kept saying "expired version" even though it was the newest version, would say its time limited. But used CloneCD instead and the backup wouldn't even install, had problems with the first CD. Turned to good old Nero and done another backup of the first CD, now it installs fine but of course doesn't play, fails instantly. Done another backup of the second CD using 3341 with my usual settings for SecuROM, takes heaps longer to fail...

This was using my 24102B with the default Game CD Profile for the first CD then used the SecuROM Profile for the Lite-On downloaded from here...

Info could be useful to someone...

LOTR can so far only be backed up via Blindwrite with the additional BWA file that is on the Blindwrite thread by FutureProof.
Download this file and using the same settings as burning UT2003 this game will successfully be copied.

Either registering or updating to the newest version should get it running again (if updated to many times from evaluation version it will force you to register)

It can also be backed up using clonecd (or alcohol) with a bwa file and blackcheck's twinpeak tool.

Yes. Not only can alcohol burn ccd images but it can also create images in ccd format.

LORD OF THE RINGS

Hi. I tried all as above. I used Blindwrite to create a BWA file.
I created an image (of play cd) using CloneCd.
Then I used Twinpeaks v.2 and it created a Patched.CCD file.
I then burned this using CloneCd and it did NOT work.
Any suggestions? I have a LTR24104B and an ASUS 48X.
I used the LiteOn Securom profile with my LiteON and the regular
Securom profile with the ASUS.

Thanks for any help.
