| liteon owners and clonecd4 beta 9 Ok here is the deal. My liteon 40x12x48 will read just fine with the new version but it will not burn a thing. Ive done alot of trouble shooting and It burns fine with clonecd3. Soo I believe it is a bug in the beta. I emailed olli letting him know of my experiences and im sure he is on top of it. Just wanted to let everyone know in case they run into similar problems. Thank you olli for such a powerful burning tool from all of us here. I cant tell you how many firestorm cds i have bought in the past. Your work is admirable and greatly appreciated. I hope some day I can help others the way you have helped all of us. |

Do you get any error message? Does the write start and then abort, or doesn't it start at all? What OS are you using? | |

| 40x12x48 working for me.... I have the liteon 40 speed writer and I am not having any problems now that I've got some decent cdr's. I can write at 40x using version 4 beta 9 and the copies seem fine. I download a few movies from the newsgroups for "evaluation" and would say that this liteon is the best for reading (s)vcds as well. I hope you get your problems sorted, cos when it's working it's a great writer. |

| My Liteon 40x works fine copying MOHAA (SD 2.51) with the new CloneCD beta. It did work about a minute and a half faster reading the game (6:01 min.) and faster writing the game to disk (3:03 min.). I actually was hoping for faster times reading but I am still happy with these.( I tired to use my Plextor 24x SB2 drive to copy the MOHSA game but no luck with settings posted here on the forum as used successfully now using CloneCD beta. It showed that it copied and wrote the game but when I tried to play it in a Toshiba 1502 DVD, it said that it had performed an illegal operation.: |
