Clone CD Discuss, Industry Giant 2 at Burning Software forum; i guess the new copy protection sheme this game uses is based on the time the cd drive needs to read the cd, CD-R aren´t reflecting the light as normal let´s say original vendor cd´s do . So reading a CD-R takes more time as reading

Industry Giant uses SecuROM and should be no problem to copy... And I don't think your theory is right either...

I don't know if your theory is correct but this game uses the latest Securom (like NWN 1.21 ) and can't be (yet) copied.
Greetings.

It's a piece of cake to copy! Just use the default game profile (or our securom-profiles)! That together with a nice writer and you have a perfect backup.

Or is there a SecurROM *new* *new *new*?

Using read speeds / seek times to distinguish between CD-ROM and CD-R doesn't work.

We still investigate the NWN 1.21 issue (SecuROM *very new*).

Someone who understands what I ask for could try setting the T subchannel manually to zero in the clonecd sub file. Some sectors contain a bit 31 set to 1 there, which is absolutely not typical for Securom.
