1. What protection is Icewindale 2?
2. Can it be backed up with a standard "game cd" profile?
3. Where can I find out what game is protected by what protection? Gamecopyworld is often wrong!

1. from what i've read it has no protection, just a CD check.

3. check for your self (using some protection scanner, Clony, Scout, YAPS) or do a search on the forum.

I have successfully backed up Icewind Dale 2 using the Safedisc (no AWS) profile with FES set to AUTOMATIC. I can confirm that this PC game has no protection as reported by other posters on this forum.
