| FES times when reading GTA3 play disc in my liteon or any other drive for that matter, with fast error skip enabled, it takes around 30-45 seconds to get past the weak sectors. Last night i broke my backup(accidentally sat on it) and decided to make another one. Well i recently traded dvd drives with my moms computer. I took the NEC drive, don't remember model #, and its fes took only 2 seconds to get past weak sectors!!  Is this normal or superfast?

| The weak sectors should not even take 2 seconds. Do you speak about the bad sectors? In this case, 2 seconds is pretty good.

| Really depends on the drive, but assuming that these sectors reach from 1.000 till 10.000, then a minute is an acceptable time. 2 Seconds sounds really fast. 9000 sectors, that are 2 minutes, that means, to read that within 2 seconds, you had to read at 60x in the inner portion of the disc. There's definitely something wrong.
