Does CloneCD stop at read errors? - Club CDFreaks

I just bought CloneCD with AnyDVD in a bundle. Does CloneCD halt on hardware read errors? I used to use DVDDecrypter in ISO read mode for my 1:1 DVD backups and it did. I'm just wondering if CloneCD thinks a read error is some protection and reproduces it in the image.

Could be some protection scheme by the movie industry to bypass your program. They sometimes do create errors just so you can't just easily bypass their protection. As for hardware error-I think you just have a outdate hardware or need firmware update.

Perhaps I worded that wrong. If there is a scratch on the disc creating a sector the dvd-rom drive truly can't read, will CloneCD report that to the user?
