Comp Crashed - Club CDFreaks

hey
i downloaded clone cd 4.2.0.2 from a friend (who has given it to me and alot of other ppl)
when i tried installing, my comp crashed, he claims to have never had this problem b4
any help would be appreciated

Why didn't you just get it from Slysoft? Besides that version is way old. 5.3.0.1 is out now.

Can you do a "system Restore" to the point just before you installed this "thing"...?

Here a scary thought how well do you trust your friend? Maybe there was some spyware or malware hidden in there to do something that shouldn't be doing there? That's the extreme....and for him to make that claim after giving you that software I be suspicious...and plus take that clonecd 4.2.0.2 and install it on his computer and see what he says....? If he doesn't wan't install and run it...that should make you wonder....

the friend is the pastor at my church
he hasnt given me any reason to not trust him since ive had it b4 and it worked

Ok, but ask him where did he get his version from ? So who made your version of clonecd? Don't want to imply any wrong doing but if he downloaded clonecd to you-your're suppose to have your own registered version just for you right?

It is not legal to give away copys of software that is mean't to used on more than one computer. One liscence, one computer. I suggest you read Slysofts EULA before posting about this again.
