Hi I would I first like to say thanks to all the members on this site been refferencing on this site for some time now and you guys always have the answers!

k, i have a laptop compaq presario r3000
i have toshiba odd-dvd sd-r6252 drive
i have anydvd 5.5.1.1
new clonedvd2 the one that has the transcoding graph on it.

i recently purchased some new blank media it didnt worknt with anything i was tryin to burn,so i returned it an went back to my old reliable media.which was working just fine but isnt on sale,lol. Anyways since then my drive doesnt recognize the dvd in it, and i was gettin error on every movie i tried to back up. so i emailed hp they said to first download the service pack with updates so i did, that didnt work their next suggestion was to uninstall then reinstall the drivers i did ,burned one dvd bad then the next work with dvd shrink. now it im geetin errors again so i researched here read a fewtopics that related.i then uninstalled all the programs i was using and im still haveing errors the next disc i burned had this error

Existing drivers:

i have no idea what any of that is, then i updated everything and i uninstalled nero jus cus i seen that was the burner or i seen it in that error code an figured that might have something to do with it, when tried to back up x-mas with the kranks and the burn was successful but when i go to play it on my dvd player it said bad disc?i have no idea what to do is my drive bad,please help mr.wizard.

Can someone Please shed some light on my situtation please
