Clone CD Discuss, CloneCD - Writing error at Burning Software forum; When trying to write an image I created with CloneCd , I get the following two errors: And: I have a Toshiba R2102 cd writer (which isn't listed in the compatible writers list for CCD but other similar Toshiba models are)...and I've tried different games... Does anyone know

CloneCD - Writing error

When trying to write an image I created with CloneCd, I get the following two errors:

I have a Toshiba R2102 cd writer (which isn't listed in the compatible writers list for CCD but other similar Toshiba models are)...and I've tried different games...

Does anyone know what is the cause? TIA

You have tried to write in SAO or RAW-SAO mode. These modes aren't good for anything if your writer supports RAW-DAO, so read and follow the message which CloneCD displays

If your writer does not support RAW-DAO, then =>

No CCD says RAW-DAO isn't supported with my writer....

Thanks for your help..so I guess that means I should start looking at other writing software? Or can SAO/RAW-SAO ever be made to work?

My Pioneer DVR-A03 behaves the same way as your writer. It indeed wrote one disc with CloneCD, but everytime else i tried, it reported the same message. No idea what I have done to make it work that one time...

I just wanted to add that after looking through lots of old threads I decided to try downloading the new version of CCD and now everythings working fine!?!?!

lol I'm even more baffled and uncertain now than before...this backing up of cds seems to be an esoteric business.......
