CloneCD untested with XP?

I'm sorry if this has already been dealt with but while installing the the virtual drive of the latest version of CCD on my XP laptop I got a warning message stating it hadn't yet undergone Windows logo testing....

It "strongly recommendeded" that I exited the setup...is this mere over cautiousness on the part of Microsoft or could it really make things unstable?

Thanks again

For every driver that wants to install to the Windows XP environment , the Operating System checks if the driver is digitally signed. This can be an agreement between Microsoft and the manufacturer of the driver itself.

If this is not found , the warning you described will occur.

I personally have never seen any problem with unsigned NVidia drivers , Scanner drivers and CloneCD Virtual CD Drivers regaring Windows XP environments.

Its very easy to disable that message.

Just right-click on My Computer, click properties, then the hardware tab, then driver signing, then the first option (ignore), then make sure theres a tick next to make this the default option.

Dammit Windows, of course I want to install the new Catalyst Drivers!!
