Hey

We all here will be more than happy to help you out BUT you have to help us out first by doing 2 things. First> let us know what your rig is... you know.. OS, version of CCD, CPU & most importantly... what cdr media, burner & firmware for the burner are you using. If you have a 2 sheep burner, Ghost Recon has just a low level of Safedisc v2 on it that will be a piece of cake to backup. Just down load the Safedisc v2 profile. If you want to play it real safe, you can slow down the read & write to about 8X. You will have to tick FES as that is how Safedisc does its dirty work. If you have a 2 sheep burner, do NOT tick AWS as it is not needed & will make a coaster for you.
Second> thing...... please use the search...Ghost Recon has been posted many times as it is an older game.
Soooo.... let us know what you are using or look up your burner & if it is a 2 burner you are good to go. Welcome aboard.

Are you trying to run it through your cd writer?
Not too sure what protection it uses but if you are running through the burner try using the hide cd-r option in ccd

hey bboy, one thing strikes me right away. Not being able to play from the original??? Thats odd, because that should always work. maybe you should try wiping it completely from the system, I mean registry and all. If you dont know how look up regedit command and you might have to do a few manual removes as well just to be safe. Windows System uninstall never gets stuff completely out. Do a complete uninstall and also reboot before reinstalling. Then install and try from the original first. It sounds like a windows bug or a system bug, because every game should ideally run from the original.
