CloneCD burns OK but software refuses to read it! - Club CDFreaks

Guys, I have used my CloneCD to copy Disc 1 of the National Burial Index, 2nd Edition & it burned OK (all files appeared as the original) BUT the software refuses to play it! The repeated message reads "Please insert NBI Disk 1, select OK & restart the viewer". This does not happen!!

Although the Disc 1 CD has been copied, my CD-R is obviously recognised by the software as not being as the original & will not therefore play!
Is there any way this problem can be overcome, please?

More info needed if we're to help you.

Is the disc copy protected? Scan with A-Ray scanner and let us know.

What burner/s do you have and and do you have any other cd/dvd rom/s?

I have used A-Ray scanner & it indicates SafeDisc 4.00.

I only have a Toshiba DVD Rom SD-R5112 1031.

If you only have a dvd rom, what writer are you using?

That appears to be the writer as well! Sorry, this is all so new to me!
