Did you use the protected pc game profile??
If you have, I would now suggest using scout 2.2 final and transfer the setting to clone cd that will then read at 4 and write at 8 good luck.

Thanks Jellybelly but I tried at 8 and it didnt work
However I did succeed using alcohol 120%
First time clone's give me a coaster so even though Ive now got my back up I might keep trying to get one from old faithfull so if anyone's got some settings to try with a LTR 32123S (liton) and clone cd lets hear about it .
For now I'm going to set the read at 4 and burn at 8 and see how I go .

Jellybelly, the new "Protected PC Game" profile has the new emulation option enabled by default. So it is normal that it works in your writer, as Ollie made this brilliant option to be able to copy protections even from crappy drives. To verify this, close CCD (or disable "hide CDR") and try in a CD-ROM reader : it should fail.

The question here around is if CCD can defeat SD2.8 without using emulation. According to some posts in this thread, it seems to work with some drives. It anyhow fails for me with my Plextor 2410 used as reader and writer (AWS enabled, "hide CDR" enabled) : the game fails to play.

With emulation enabled (new "Protected PC Game" profile), everything works perfectly : backup plays in the Plex and in my old & picky Hitachi GD-2500.

best bet is to go buy a liteon then there`s no problem liteon eats safedisk`s lunch

i have liteon dvd/liteon burner do i just use the protected pc game profile and change option to aws to ignore?

want to have a backup that requires no emulation.

I have tried to B/U Mohaa-sprhd using clone4 using gamecd, sd2(no aws), sd2(aws), protect cd read profiles. Writing at both max and 8x.
Tried reading with both Plex 1210A and Sony cdu 5211. All coasters!!
A while back I was able to back up MOHAA with all of above, no success with SPRHD and SD2.8.
Any help out there or do I need to upgrade my cdrom and/or go to a lite-on instead of plex. Help
