OK there is pluses and minuses. I successfully read and wrote safedisk v2.51 with my plextor 40/12/40a. The game i tested with was command and conquer Firestorm. Thats the plus.


The minus is, I bought a liteon 40x12x48 off of WWW.NEWEGG.COM and I cant seem to get it to read or write.
:-( It will act as if it is reading and writing but when the burn is finished the cd has nothing on it. I can burn a non protected cd using nero with the liteon. Problem is, I dont know if it is My writer that I bought via Internet, or if it is just the new clonecd 4.0 Beta. oh and one other thing. When i had the last version the 3. version, It wouldnt recognize the amplify weak sectors option. ANYONE help??????? or have any idea????:

Can you do some more tests please? Test writing on a CD-RW disc with non protected discs and protected discs. CloneCD 4 is still BETA so problems like this one might be a bug... Can't really say. Also try writing with other programs. Do they all work as they should?

Do you live in the U.S. or Japan? This option is disabled for these countries due to legal restrictions. A workaround for this has been discussed on this forum many times but I do not know if it actually works (I live in The Netherlands where this option does work).
