| CCD/Fireburner OR DD/Fireburner for SD2.8? I want to back up 007NightFire that has SafeDisc 2.8 without having to emulate & hide cd in the tray. I have it backed up using CCD that way & it does run. I made an image to the HDD with a cue sheet using CCD. What is the best of these 2 combos, CCD/fireburner or DD/fireburner? I have a Liteon 32123S. Also, could alcohol use my image that was made with CCD4.2.0.2 with a cue sheet? With fire burner, I saw a post by Philamber saying to use the setting dao16.... why not dao96? I really do not want to d/l & use alcohol as I already have: Nero, CCD, fireburner, blindwrite, bao, twinpeaks, discdump & discjuggler.

| Do you have an ordinary cd/dvd rom from which you can install and run the game? If you only have a writer, you'll have to use hide cd media whatever you do. To answer your other queries: 1. Either ccd (with cue sheet)/fireburner or ddump/fireburner copies will work fine without emulation or hide cd media if you install and run from an ordinary cd/dvd rom. 2. Alcohol can burn a ccd image even without a cue sheet. 3. Dao16 is the default raw mode for your writer and it's enough for safedisc so why not use it? However, dao96 will work too.

| All right Thanks ONCE AGAIN for your great info Philamber. I always read & write the image with my 32123S. I always install & play from my cd-rom. DAO16 setting with CCD(cue sheet)/Fireburner it will be for my very next burning session in just a few minutes. This way I will have a backup that needs no app or emulation running in the background.... cool!!! By the way Philamber, your thread in the burning software forum on how to use all the different apps step by step is just FRICKIN' great. I am using fireburner for the first time & your step by step thread is sure useful. Futureproof has a great thread on discjuggler that helped alot as dj has many setting that would have had me wondering wtf. Dj crapped out & did not work with my hardware but still, FP's thread was helpful. Just wanted to give credit where credit is due. Now if only someone would let me know which NOLF2 disc(s) have securom 4.8x on it. #1, #2 or both???

| Now what I just tried to burn my CCD made image with fireburner & I get the famous "invisible cd" DAMN IT!!!! I went to their site & got squat for info. In my 007nightfire folder I have 4 files, they are all named "image" and they end in ccd cue img & sub. when it goes to burn it shows "test burn" & of course I have the test burn UNticked. I followed Philambers thread instuctions to the word. Any suggestions???
