CCD 4 Is changing my IDE drives to SCSI

After installing the latest version of CCD (4.2.0.2), I found it would not burn any images at all. After checking my device manager, ALL of my drivers (both HDD's and CD-RW) had been changed to SCSI. I have tried uninstalling, re-installing without Clonedrive, XP System restore, manually updating each driver - everything I can think of.

I ended up doing a complete OS re-install because I couldn't even get other burn software to work (it could not find a CD-R drive). Any ideas? This is really a pain...

Sys Info:

XP Home (all Service packs)
AMD Athlon 2700+
MOBO Leadtek Research Inc. WinFast nVidia CR18D/G
1024GB Corsair RAM
HDD 0 - WDC WD1200JB-75CRA0 (111.8GB) (120GB)
HDD 1 - WDC WD400BB-00CFC0 (37.3GB) (40 GB)
IDE DVD-ROM 16X (CD 48X Rd) (DVD 6X Rd)
IDE PLEXTOR CD-R PX-W4824A (CD 40X Rd, 48X Wr)

TIA

Adding a new XP Hardware Profile

Does anyone think adding a new hardware profile to XP would help me recover from this easier?

Ah yes. I have had this problem but didnt put it down to Clone CD at first. I formatted a week or two ago and all drives looked fine in device manager after the format. I have installed latest Clone CD again and all drives are now SCSI in control panel. I lose no performence however. This may indicate that this is just a cosmetic issue.
Any ideas Clone CD??

What IDE drivers are you using ??? cuz the Nvidia Enhanced IDE drivers do that too everyone on all burnning programs.

Give a try with the IDE drivers that come with XP....

Clone CD is a good friend not a SCSI trouble maker

Yes, IDE drivers can be a devil and the nVIDIA drivers are 'untried', I suspect, by the replication developers. If you uninstall the chipset drivers then XP will try to reload the same chipset drivers (PnP) so the unintsall must be good. I don't think SP1 included drivers for the nVIDIA chipset so it may not work. Are there any later chipset drivers from Leadtek or nVIDIA? Why no reply from Olli or Sven?!

I have the latest firmware for my CDRW, BIOS, and Chipset.

I have also tried it with the XP IDE drivers...

I don't think it's a Nvidia issue. I have CDMATE, Fireburner, and Nero working without a problem. I would like to try a few more things, but re-formatting - while it gave me something interesting to do for a while - has lost it's appeal.
