Well, believe it or not, I was not born an Admin but started just like you have. So that you don't see this smilie too often, you should go straight to Down & Dirty & Settings

If you still have problems, get back straight away.

Check your writer's compatibility before making anymore coasters.

I think you have to try the CloneCd AWS function,or Bétablocker, because Ghost Recon is Safedisk2 protected.......

No need for crack or patch!

Read: Fast Error Skip (click "default" in the Settings)
Write: Amplify Weak Sectors, buffer underrun & close

Use an 80' disc
play it from a CD/DVD-ROM or use Hide CD-R Media if playing from the burner.

Check your ASPI! Without real SCSI adaptors & hosts, you only need these two files

It seems to me that a hamster would know quite a bit about slavery... All it does is sit there running in it's little wheel, under the bidding of its master.[/OT][/BAWA]

lol!! but technically the hamster is not a slave, because a slave is someone doing something for someone else, all the hamster does is runs around his cage and wheel, he doesnt actually take orders or do stuff for his master

slight prbblem

My option for amplify weak sectors is greyed out for me
does this mean my cdr does not support
and it says my cdr does not support buffer underrun errors

and i do have the two files you mentioned from previous post
WNASPI32.DLL
APIX.VXD

Futureproof will have to say, but I'm pretty sure he means the ASPI version, not just having an ASPI layer. Try using 4.6 or 4.7. 4.7 is the latest, but it has some bugs.

The grayed out 'Amplify Weak Sectors' means that your regional settings are set to the US or Japan. You need to move. You can get plane tickets at your local airport, the internet, or Control Panel -> Regional Settings.

Hey!

ASPI 4.7x (which includes original 4.60 version files) is MMC-3 compliant - perfectly, in fact; these people should write the standards if they don't already. If 4.70 does not work on your PC - then you have another problem. Adaptec - experts on SCSI & MMC - DO NOT make buggy software! (well apart from EZCD, which is not really buggy, just robust enough to topple anything else loaded on the sysytem including the OS - go figure.)

I thought that 4.7 wouldn't work with Clony 2.0.0.2; even with systems without anything that could cause a problem; Was this a Clony bug?

Works on my system. There are so many versions of wnaspi32 though, it's not funny. Proprietory wnaspi32.dll & wnaspi.dll should stay in their Program Files folder (e.g. Nero); the Adaptec one goes into %Windows/system32%. I've researched an article on this subject. here's exactly what you need:

Win98/ME
  • WNASPI32.DLL 4.60
  • WNASPI.DLL 4.60
    APIX.VXD 4.60
NT 4.0
  • WNASPI32.DLL 4.70
  • ASPI32.SYS 4.70
  • WINASPI.DLL 4.60
  • WOWPOST.EXE 4.60
Win2K (& just for Coup - Windows 2000 pro)
  • WNASPI2K.DLL 4.70
  • ASPI2K.SYS 4.70
  • WINASPI.DLL 4.60
  • WOWPOST.EXE 4.60
XP
  • ASPIXP.SYS (32-bit) 4.70
  • WNASPIXP.DLL (32-bit) 4.70
  • ASPI64.SYS (64-bit) 4.70.8
  • WNASPI64.DLL (64-bit) 4.70.8
Adaptec recommends only wnaspi.dll for 98/Mebut having wnaspi32.dll, as well, is a low cost/high payoff strategy.
