Can Clone CD "create" CDs?

I bought the SlySoft suite a couple of weeks ago, and my daughter asked me if I could copy some songs from her mother's old PC in the iTunes directory to the new HP I recently bought them. She has all the CD$ (unfortunately for me), but she doesn't want to go through the process of setting this all up again. She has 496 songs in the iTunes directory from her cds, and although she has the 190+ that she bought through iTunes store... she wants everything in one place. I thought the easiest thing would be to write the songs or the directory to a CD, then copy them back into the new PCs iTunes directory. So that's the history and task.

Now, I thought I could use CloneCD to write to a disk... but is that possible when you are not copying a CD? All I want to do is move the music from the D:/ drive on one PC to the C:/ drive and iTunes on the new pc.

Then I though... maybe if I could get both PCs recognized on my home network, I could simply copy the directory from one pc to another?

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Can Clone CD "create" CDs?

Clonecd is used mostly to backup existing discs, so Clonecd is not the program you need.

You may want to take a look at Nero, or, as you mentioned, network your computers together.

If she has purchased any of the music online via iTunes, then you might want to take a look at a program called CopyPod. This will preserve all her playlists, etc.
