Burning C&C Renegade - Club CDFreaks

I have a problem
I have the PLextor 40X burner and I am trying to back up C&C Renegade.

I used the Settings
READ MAX
Fast Error Skip On
Regenerate Data Sectors On
Read Audio+Data Sub On

When I mount the image in D-Tools
It gives me an error at 87% saying to insert the game cd. The thing is its already mounted. I tried burning and got the same problem. Any Help?

Use the Clony settings for Renegade. With a plextor, I believe you must amplify weak sectors. You don't need to Regenerate Data Sectors and the Subchannels activated. I burned this game before, and I know not to burn more than 8x. Maybe uncheck "Always Close Last Session." It might not affect you, but I made some coasters with this option enabled.

But it won't even work in Daemon Tools so what could be the problem

Well, I know for a fact that Renegade has an ATIP check, but I do not know if DAEMON Tools has a problem with this or not. If you have a CD Reader, try using that. Post your results. (I'm posting this from experience)

Isn't ATIP only when your trying to play the game?

Now I can't even get into the setup
I get an error when i click install on the autoplay

Before I had my Liteon drive, I had a Creative Labs 12x CDRW. Since Plextor is not a Safedisc 2 killer, neither was my Creative Labs, I found that putting 3 Read Retries and Hardware Error Correction also helped make a perfect CD Image, but that is just me, and others on the forum will say its useless.

I have it set to 3 read retries and software correction. I did a read at 4X and I'm installing it and hopefully it works.

Nope....still didn't work
I will try 3 retries with Hardware and see what happens.

The image has to work in D-Tools without emulation to be RAW and thus suitable for burning.

Read is FES only - nothing else. Read speed can be max. Have you tried the fastdump feature of D-Tools?

Don't burn before you have a RAW image

I get that when I read at full speed with FES on only.
This is when I click install on the autoplay.

Well this just sucks....I found out that its the original thats the problem....there are scratches all over it
