what specifically is the AWS did i have to use the gamefreaks AWS tool what is the "hide cdr media"

well the hide cd-r media option is for the ATIP check for safedisk v2 games it check so see if the game cd in drive is a copy.
it can only check this if it is in a cd-rw drive, so all u have to do to get around this is put it in a cd-rom or dvd-rom drive which cant check the atip info on a cd-r/cd-rw disk

in short..... hide cd-r media option is used so that u can use your copy in your cd-rw drive if a game cd uses atip check
