| Aopen 1232 CDRW and Safedisc2 Anyone had any luck using the above writer and Clone to make a working copy of any Safedisc 2 title, All the ones i have tried will install but not run from either my writer or reader. The safedisc2 comp list has it listed but as yet i have had no luck.

| I thought the Aopen 1232A/Pro did SD2, but I was very very wrong! I posted a similar message on cdrinfo.com and the expert said that the Aopen CDRWs did not support EFM encoding. Boy was I disappointed, since I couldn't exchange my burner after 7 days. But, if you can do it! I've heard that the Acer 1208 or higher can do SD2 perfectly, although it may have problems with cdr media, plus you can't turn off the seamless link feature. | I got some various results on the AOPEN drives... The score: CRW1232 Atapi Only one report it works, two it doesn't. CRW1232A (Pro) Atapi Only one report it works, three it doesn't. Check my SafeDisc 2 list for more compatible SD2 writers.
