Hey i wanted to know can a lite on 40125S make a copy of AoM it can write is raw mode and can AWS.....

i was reading the other Age of mythlogy post and one of them said u can do it with a 2 sheep drive i looked and my drive is a 2 sheep drive i dont got the game yet i pre ordered it its coming tommrow but i just wante dto know before it gets here so i will know if i can make a copy of it and what profile and stuff i need

one more problem im having is when i try to copy a disk with Clonecd4 i looked at the log and it keeps saying Failed to read sector. any one know what causes this ?????????

It is normal to have 'Failed to read sector xxxx' when reading a disc protected with Safedisc, it should end at around 10,000 and then copy very fast as the Safedisc protection is only in the first 10,000 or so sectors

Yes your writer can copy this game successfully. (Oh, and don't use AWS.)

if you had read at least the FAQ, if not Down & Dirty, you would have discovered that:

a Lite-On does not need AWS
a Lite-On can defeat SD2.7.x
"Failed to read sector..." is normal
you can use the SafeDisc profile for Lite-On
...and most anything else related to Lite-On units and SafeDisc

I have the liteon 24102b drive.

I have 2 profiles

SafeDisc (2) (no AWS)
SafeDisc 2(.51) (AWS)

I clicked on edit and I don't see where AWS is checked on either of them so how do I know if it is useing AWS or not?

Also my drive is a 2 sheep burner so for ALL safedisc 2.7 2.8 2.9 should I use 2(.51) (AWS) or should i always use SafeDisc (2) (No AWS)?

I'm a bit confused on if I should ever be useing the 2(.51) AWS or just somtimes.

I'm getting this game this week but want 1:1

AWS is an option when you right click a burner in the qrite window. You should use the default Game CD profile until you get a coaster. Many discoveries of protection are here.

If your Litey will not do SD2.8x in CloneCD, try the AWS option.
