ImgBurn Discuss, ImgBurn 2.3.2.0 burn error!!! at Burning Software forum; Hi I am trying to burn an *.iso file created in DVDit Pro 6.1 and the burn fails constantly. I am using TYG02. What is going on? Please Help, NBK

ImgBurn 2.3.2.0 burn error!!!

Hi

I am trying to burn an *.iso file created in DVDit Pro 6.1 and the burn fails constantly. I am using TYG02. What is going on?

I have tried Verbatim DVD-R 16x and TYG03 without issue. Do i have a BAD batch of TY02?

Hi

I used Nero CD-DVD Speed to burn an image. TYG02 will not burn above 2x. It also did burn well like it missed some spots toward the outer edges.

Try enabling/disabling SolidBurn and WOPC to see if it makes a difference. Your drive shouldn't be burning that media at 2x.

If that doesn't help, try installing a previous firmware.

Didn't you mention something about those discs on your BenQ before? I tried looking for the thread, but couldn't find it.

Thanks for your suggestions,

I am finishing a clean install of Windows XP SP2, but i forgot SolidBurn and et al. I think the problem is solved. I will post proof later.

You downloaded and installed QSuite and enabled SolidBurn for known as well as unknown media as well as enabling WOPC, right?
WOPC should be enabled by default BTW.

Just trying to clarify.

I use SolidBurn=On/On and WOPC=On for my BenQ DW1655 which seems to be the best combination for my drive and media.
