ImgBurn Discuss, AnyDVD w/ IMGBurn (settings) at Burning Software forum; I know when using DVD Decrypter and AnyDVD you should change the interface to EelbyCDIO. When using IMGburn with AnyDVD should I do the same? Would this interfere in anyway with IMGBurn's burning? Thanks.

Why sure i do. I use SPTI-Microsoft and don't have problems. I use this combo a lot for reading and burning +R DL's. Yes i know but you get a warning. So do i.

Edit:
I guess if no one else answers you can see which setting works best for you.

Re: AnyDVD w/ IMGBurn (settings)

I believe it may be compatible either way. However, for DVD Decrypter you have to change to ElbyCDIO, I was just wondering if it may be best to do so for IMGBurn as well.

Bob, do you feel IMGBurn in read mode is the best way to get 1:1 backups for DL?

Anyone for sure on which setting will work best with AnyDVD and IMGBurn? Elby or SPTI?

I use Read mode and then Write mode for all my DL's along with AnyDVD. I have a lot of apps that i have bought and i use ImgBurn the most and well AnyDVD.

I've been beta testing for LUK! and hope he releases the new one as it has a lot of new features. I think he posted some screen shots of it in his forum.

Sorry i cannot give it out.

Ya LUK has hinted that a new release is coming.

However, do you know which is preferred when using AnyDVD? SPTI or Elby?

No, this isn't true...unless you're running windows 98se or previous.

Both will work, again, as long as you're not running 98 or dare I say earlier version of windows...
I used AnyDVD, dvddecrypter and Img extensively for DL burns back before VSO offered reliable DL burns as part of Fab's platinum.

Like Bob said, just use SPTI and you'll be ok.

Re: AnyDVD w/ IMGBurn (settings)

Thanks guys, I really can't ask the question in the ImgBurn forum as it involves getting around copyright and dont want to PM LUK.

I will continue using SPTI.

I use the Elby driver with ImgBurn in read mode with AnyDVD running and it works just fine.

Have you tried this using the SPTI driver? You prefer either?

Thanks.

I use the Elby driver to read (rip) just because it seems logical since AnyDVD is required. I actually use the SPTI driver to write discs. I disable AnyDVD because the author of ImgBurn found it may not allow the application to verify after write properly. Since I unload AnyDVD to do the writing I just use the SPTI driver to write the discs. There may be no problem using the Elby driver to write discs. I just never researched it.
