Verizon FIOS HD DVR QIP6416

I have Verizon FIOS with High Definition DVR box, model HD DVR QIP6416-2.

Any easy instruction how to get the recorded channels from the box (and burn them on DVD etc?)

There is a master thread at AVS but with over 100 pages, I'm lost. Again I just need a simple way to burn the recorded movies. I guess it's the same with other boxes right?

Re: Verizon FIOS HD DVR QIP6416

AS far as I know there is no way to do this since I have the same system, The only way to play the movie or show from DVR QIP6416-2 on your TV and the same time record it from out of your TV to you regular stand alone DVD recorder. Obviously you might have the show or movie being played from you DVR in HD format but being recorded in regular DVD platform.
