New HD receiver from LG: HD to HDD and DVD

Source: http://www.avkorea.co.kr/board/read....=1&mB=1&bidx=1

Basically a standalone recorder that has a built-in HD receiver, 120GB or 60GB HDD, IEEE 1394, 7-in-1 portable memory reader, and DVD recorder. Coming very soon.

Yeah, naturally everyone who waits for the new model will probably also consider another massive upgrade. For myself, it would be like upgrading from 20-inch to 40-inch, or 29-inch to 60-inch, of coruse in addition to the receiver.

No South Korean HDTV company can do without the US market, probably, and actually the first HDTV from South Korea was developed by Zenith which was later acquired by LG. One good thing from that is that most HDTV companies seem to take care of their English-language homepages. The South Korean government officials at the MIC ministry also work hard to set the best course and guide the industry and consumers.
