HDTV Display Devices, Recorders and Programming Discuss, help please at International Chat: High Definition forum; hi, i have a DAEOO HDD/DVD Recorder and its bin fine till now, turnd on yesterday and its just saying Hi... on the display and i carn't do anything with it so any help please. thanks and i like the forum.

help please

Have you tried saying Hi back?...sorry couldn't help it.......
I'm not familiar with it,but have you tried unplugging/turning power off and back on?.....Check the manual?
BTW, welcome and hope you still like the forum.....

yes mate done all that but carn't find the manual, i pres the on button when i plug it in and it goes to safe mode don't know what that is but i still carn't do anything, Can i try another hard drive or have they got to be formatted diferent from pc hard drives cuss its the same as a pcs.
