Comcast HD on PC Display - Club CDFreaks

Hello, I believe that my setup will be different then most but curious as to if anyone has tried this. I have a Psyclone HDMI switch w/optical for audio and its splitting a PS3 and my PC to a Samsung 245bw PC monitor via an HDMI to DVI adapter on the monitor end. I was wondering if it would be worth it or at least somewhat compairable to an HDTV if I also hook up a comcast DVR/tuner the same way. They should be here on monday and they are putting in a DVR downstairs on a 57inch hitach, and another room with a 19inch westinghouse all HD supportive. All my equipment is HDCP compatable as well, thanks for any info its greatly appriciated.

Well now that I have it, it is quite good.. glad I went through with it. I guess my only issue really is with the DVR not saving its settings that I adjust in the menu but whatever.

So your splitting PS3, Cable and PC with Psyclone HDMI 4x1 to your Samsung 245BW? How did you feed the audio?

The psyclone also splits optical connections as well as hdmi, using the Logitech Z 5500 speakers + optical outs/ins and everything comes together great.

if your talking about HDMI versions it supports v1.3 and prior (the hdmi switch)
