| hdtv I just bought a Sony 52" LCD and, like one of the above questions, am trying to make sure that everything is "hooked up". I already have an Onkyo cd/dvd player, Onkyo A/V receiver which is about 6yrs old. ANYWAY....the new tv has HDMI and, needles to say, the A/V receiver does not. I have an HD Direct Tv receiver which does have HDMI port. I have everything working but was wondering how you would recommend set up. I currently am running component in to my tv but would I still want HDMI cables run to my tv as well? Is there any benefit from running both HDMI and component? |

| Re: hdtv Use HDMI from the HD box to the TV, with optical or coax to the receiver.
