having problems with burning dvds
i burn my movies they copy and burn just fine but when i go to play them it will play the first few trailers then the screen will go black and if i fast forward the dvd menu will show up how do i fix this?

Get better media or use the original DVDs.

Welcome to the forum, what software are you using. Could be your dvd player? You should try the disk in another dvd player.

Hi the black screen & burn issues is all to well known if a user is using DVD43 uninstall that and do a search to remove left over files of DVD43 aqnd get either the machinist http://gravurecite.free.fr/Machinist2.setup.exe or anydvd instead. http://static.slysoft.com/SetupAnyDVD.exe

What title(s) are causing you issues?

What version are you using too? I need numbers not just saying the latest.

the version im using is 2.9.8.4, the discs im having issues with are titles like the gudge 1 and 2 and the messengers. but other titles like crash and vacancy work just fine. at the moment i downloaded the anydvd should i still try to download the machinist2? thanks for your time

No need for the machinist if you use anydvd be sure you tick compatibility mode on DVD neXt COPY though.

howdy,
at the end of copying the dvd dvdnextcopy has an error, or microsoft error and wants to send a report, then dumps out. I downloaded the machinist.dll..

any suggestions?

What title is doing this? Is it all movies? What version of DVD neXt COPY? What decrypter are you using?

There has been reports everywhere on the web of some getting bad purchase DVD's on this title. I suggest to use either Nero DriveSpeed (version 8 of Nero) or VSO Inspector and scan the purchased disc. If the tool(s) come back with bad sectors then you need to exchange the purchased disc for another copy. I copied this title just fine using the machinist.
