Re: Discussion thread for DVD neXT Copy 2.7.8.2

I had plenty of free time to test, if I had less time I would have given up when I could not figure out how to use with anyDVD or when my first burn went south. Many people just don't have time. BTY the printable guides in your forum are much better than the videos in the program and should be linked in ABOUT.

2. DVD neXt COPY has it's own built in DVD Player(TM).

3. You can do custom mode on DNC Standard or Pro version and not only see what is in that title set but actually hear what is in that title set as well. Like watching it real time.

4. Pro version is totally more compatible and needs less updates to do a title in IPOD or PSP or Zune format.

5. 24 hour tech support via email guaranteed plus I do my part on a forum(s).

6. Compatible with all other software so you can have a choice to what you want to use without the need to install or uninstall to use whatever software (except Sonic Software).

7. Free Lifetime Updates, and a 90 day no questions asked 100% money back guarantee.

8. You can use DVD43 (not recommended), or the machinistdll (recommended) these are free, or you can use anydvd (I use this) if you wish.

9. A variety of skins or styles to use on this software free of charge.

These are just at the top of my head to point a few things for now. There are some things to come as well.
But does it do movies only with menus? also what are the posted burn speed? does it do 18x 20x and does it show burn time by itself or in a log?
My friend has this product and if choose normal rip time its very slow have to chose fast rip etc why is that?. Tks for yor time

18x is the only current fastest burn 20x is being worked on as I type along with a few things needed to be included in the log. The quality settings Default (normal) is suggested by default as 99% of the time this is the best for playback, Fast rip (Sharp) is for mostly fun. Here's an explaination on the quality settings.

http://club.cdfreaks.com/showpost.ph...3&postcount=34

I have no ideal what you mean on slow as I use default and 16x on my settings and have a complete working backup less than 30 minutes. Movie Only with menus can be done if you choose custom mode there isn't a drop down box like that on one click dvd copy. This has been suggested though but I haven't heard anything in response of that yet.

Let me add DNC's log is original and they don't depend on other software to show the log ect....

Just got confirmation on this you can try the Pro version for three days and when that is up you can try the Standard for 3 days and when that is up you can try the XPress version for 3 days as they are all 3 different products.

Sorry about the delay but wanted to be positive before I answered you on this.

That makes sense.

New question why the long pause from the time the log says "Start Buring now..." till the burning starts?

Re: Discussion thread for DVD neXT Copy 2.7.8.2

Not to sure, I have that as well and thought it was a vista thing. I know when I use -R media it is faster but on +R it seems a bit longer.

Are you using Vista?

Thank you.

I use Memorex dvds, the 16x ones. I have been using memorex for over 6 years and have never had problems with them. It was not until I started using this program. My dvd player is a samsung HT-TQ72. Its a solid dvd player, it was $500 when I bought it brand new. It is Divx compatible as well. My burner is an after market LG. I dont want to take it out get the model number. But I was using it with dvdxcopy and dvdxplatinum with no problems. I hope this helps. Thanks you guys. Should I start using those verbatims dvds? Are they that much better then memorex?

Re: Discussion thread for DVD neXT Copy 2.7.8.2

I just gave things a test I used DNC with Sony DVD-R burned at 8X played on a RCA DRC257N player and had no problem FF or RW at x16 my burner is LiteOn. I don't like Memorex but I did a copy with DVD-R 16x burned at 8x to test and it also was fine FF or RW at x16; so what is your burn speed and does your player have problems with 16x media? I would test with another media at a slower burn speed.

I never suggested that you had any control on pricing and had no intentions of suggesting that you do. I very simply posted a reply to another poster stating that the software is overpriced. There are several other softwares that do as much, or more, for less money. In my opinion, that makes it overpriced.

I had the same issues with DNC Pro 2.7.8.2 and AnyDVD 6.1.7.0 / When I would burn the disk was worthless!! A coaster for your favorite beverage. DNC has a problem resorting title sets during the burn process with AnyDVD, But if you put AnyDVD in the SAFE Mode DNC Pro 2.7.8.2 will do its Majic and produce great copies.

Re: Discussion thread for DVD neXT Copy 2.7.8.2

When my buddy uses the 16x memorex using dvdxplatinum, it plays perfect on my player, so my player is ok with 16x dvds. Also I have all the monster thx1000 compenent cables and a plasma tc so I use the slowest read speed (max liquid) and the 2x burn speed. I have always done this because if I use the fastest read speed then the difference is unbelievable. The quality comes out so much worse. I first started using sony and I had alot of problems with them, not playing, skipping, problems burning. It was unreal. So I switched to memorex and everything was great. This was 5 or 6 years ago now though. So I should try switching the blank dvds and give it another try? What are some high quality blanks that I can buy?

"What are some high quality blanks that I can buy?"
My best results are with Taiyo Yuden DVD+R 8x or -R 8x then Verbatim -R 8x or +R .
The problem with Memorex is you never know what you will get batch to batch.

No need to post informmation? Isn't this a forum to pass on information? How does posting relative information show any disrespect to a forum section?
I never suggested that you had any control on pricing and had no intentions of suggesting that you do. I very simply posted a reply to another poster stating that the software is overpriced. There are several other softwares that do as much, or more, for less money. In my opinion, that makes it overpriced.
Again please respect that this is a DVD neXt COPY sub-forum there is places to post use this software or that software and not that software in the copy to dvd forum. Pricing will most likely never change they are firm on this and this application is pretty powerful if one was to really disect it to learn how to fully use it.

Thanks

I had a few folks say that this was what they had to do, thanks for sharing the information.

Re: Discussion thread for DVD neXT Copy 2.7.8.2

Hi
@ burnman or anyone who is price aware!
The price of something is relative.
If at the end of the day you feel you got a good deal. Then that price is worth paying.
I have a friend whose wife buys his shoes at a local market. She pays £9.99 a pair.
I buy shoes that even in a half price sale would cost over £40.
My friends shoes last only a matter of weeks. Maybe 2 months at the most.
So cost per year = £60 approx
My shoes last years. About 3 on average.
So cost per £20.
So in this case if the s/w does what it says, in a way that suits you.
What more could you want?
Also it is a good thing that we're all different. Otherwise everything would be the same. That would not only be boring, but with no competition. We would then be truly ripped off.

With all due respect -- DNC is the subject that I posted about, because this is the DNC thread. I made no mention of any other software. Perhaps you should reread my post?
The price can be whatever they want it to be. My statement was "There are other softwares that do the same. or more, for less money". That is a fact.

Hi
I know this is splitting hairs.
But your post is contradictorary.
You first state "I made no mention of any other software".
But further on, you refer to "other software’s".
Now if you said I have bought this software & for me it hasn't justified the price.
Then you haven't mentioned other software.
I think what you mean is that you made no reference to specific software.
This is merely semantics. Whether you say "other software’s" or name them.
The intention is still the same.
