There is no need to post reply something of this sort. Please respect the forum sections as that is why they are there and this is solely for getting help and feedback on DVD neXt COPY. I have no control over price and they are having a sale right now. I am a supporter not management or PR. I simply support and help people and pass on needed info and they stand firm on their prices.

Re: Discussion thread for DVD neXT Copy 2.7.8.2

I will see what can be done maybe give a longer trial so a person can see it will work on newer titles as released as well. It is worth a try as it is an unlimited copying in 3 days.

I first try was in joy with the burning, but I know a bit more now so am trying again. Could have been a media problem.

Re: Discussion thread for DVD neXT Copy 2.7.8.2

Quality setting can improve or make it worse on the playback as well.

Quality Settings Explained

The results from these settings may vary slightly according to each individual’s computer.

In general this is what they mean.

Max. Sharp (Fastest) = The output is very sharp but it is possible that the picture might have some skipping effects.

Sharp (Fast)
= The picture will almost be as sharp as the original.

Default (Normal) = The picture will be just as good as the original. *Recommended Setting*

Fluid (Slow) = Some movies will look better with this option with some blur.

Max Fluid (Slowest)
= Some details might be lost due to heavier blur.

The best thing to do is play around with these settings until you find which one works best for you and your setup. Most of the time default is the best.

Do you happen to have DVD Region+CSS Free or any other of those outdated products installed? Did you change the temp directory and not manually add the new folders for DNC to see it?

Re: Discussion thread for DVD neXT Copy 2.7.8.2

Hi everyone.

I have been using dvdnextcopy for quite some time now and I have yet to be able to rewind the dvds. On the latest update I seen that it had fixed the RW bug and I still cannot rewind. Also I can only fast forward on the slowest setting (2x). I cannot fast forward at 4x, 8x or 32x. It is very irratating not being able to rewind. I have to go back a full scene and then fast forward on the slowest setting, which is 2 seconds on the dvd for every 1 seconds you are rewinding. It's rediculas. Does anyone know why dvdnext copy is not allowing me to preform these tasks properly? I use to use dvdxcopy and I had never had a problem. If anyone can help me, please send me an email. email address removed

Thank you.

Re: Discussion thread for DVD neXT Copy 2.7.8.2

Please don't post your email. I haven't received my mod powers so maybe someone will edit that out. I have been testing this on various players as well and noticed this and can only ask you for your DVD player brand and the model number so I can report this issue. I have an old Sony that works fine but I can't rewind on the Samsung I have and had to tell them this as well.

humm make sure you do not have dvd43 installed or nero incd or any other decrypter for that matter other than anydvd and there are some antivirus programs that will interfere with the burning phase most are okay.

If you get the same results trying again please try another movie to rule out the software.

DNC gets along with most all burning apps I have tested DNC with about everything I am not sure about programs like image burn I had a problem with my computer with it installed but I believe it was my setup at the time.

Second try worked fine no change other than the blank media (Sony DVD-R). Played fine on RCA DRC257N and Panasonic DVD-52 players. And I did use anyDVD.

Re: Discussion thread for DVD neXT Copy 2.7.8.2

I have owned the Pro version for quite some time now and have been doing all my backups with DNC and have found the picture and sound quality to be so much better on my Home Theater system then all the other software I own and use. I can really see and hear the difference! So its become my primary backup software and I highly recommend it for those of you that want perfect copys you should give it a try!!.

From my experence it is a three day trial on each of the 3 versions so it is in fact a 9 day trial period not all that bad since it is a FULL version with no watermark.

Re: Discussion thread for DVD neXT Copy 2.7.8.2

I have emailed them and waiting confirmation on using separate or all on this. Meaning they answered me but I want to confirm that if one was to try pro and then try standard later they can or can't. I want to get all confusions ruled out before I confirm a good reply.

Re: Discussion thread for DVD neXT Copy 2.7.8.2

My experence was standard on computer 2; Pro a day later on computer 1 both OK. IMO time is needed to test each prior to spending money on features you may never use.
