| internal drive & exteral enclosure Hey guys, ordered an LG external dvd burning for my father for Christmas a few weeks ago. Unfortunatly, I got the call this evening that the burner is not in stock. I cannot seem to find another ex.burner locally that is firewire capable. So, I noticed a 5.25" CDR/HD FireWire IEEE 1394 & USB 2.0 Combo external enclosure into which I could put in a benq/nec/lg burner. Now, does anyone know if this is a good idea? Is there a performance hit at all? Thanks very much. |
