| Firmware upgrade in firewire enclosure? I have just recently purchased a 411S and it is currently residing in a firewire enclosure. I am wanting to upgrade the firmware to FSOF and I was wondering if it was possible to upgrade using the official liteon utility when the drive is in the enclosure. I have no where else to upgrade it, since it is connected to my laptop, so is it possible? Thank you for your time. |

| Uh, did you try it yet ? Since it is a Windows based .exe, I would imagine it would if it will allow you to select the proper writer. But since all configurations are different, only you hold the answer to your question. But I am thinking about doing the same. Could you post back with the results ? Thanks, Tom |
