DL13 has just come out look here : http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=164686 The firmware on your external enclosure probably won't allow you to upgrade the 4167B firmware. You'll need to downgrade the PL3507 Firmware to the one that comes with the 4160B burner then you can upgrade the firmware on your burner (use USB cable no Firewire for this) This will allow to burn Audio CD's but youll be stuck @ 12x max DVD burning. Have a look here http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=160820 Where me and Beefjerky have been playing around with firmware on both the burner and the external 3507 based case. I have some files uploaded that should come in handy. Must update to the DL13 firmware. Hope this helps. |
