107D woes in External Enclosure.

Just got a 108 so have pulled my 107 out of my Pc and put it into an external enclosure (USB2) to use with my laptop.

When I try to burn it it never gets past the lead in part and give me an error after about 30 seconds, looking at the discs it craps on about 3mm of data has been burned.

Anyone know whats going on?

Re: 107D woes in External Enclosure.

probably underbuffer assuming you're using nero

try this
Nero -> File -> Preferences -> UltraBuffer

set to manual
set it to 80 mb ( assuming you have more than 256 mb of ram)
