Blu-ray and HD DVD Hardware, Software and Blank Media Discuss, Verbatim 4x BD-R Blu-ray media (VERBATIMc) at International Chat: High Definition forum; Just received some samples. Verbatim 4x BD-R Blu-ray media. Capacity: 25GB Single layer MID: VERBATIMc I haven't tested myself but reports state that it will burn at 6x on LG GGW-H20N. However LG GGW-H10N firmware 1.02 only shows support at 2x! Note: Verbatim 2x

Just received some samples.

Verbatim 4x BD-R Blu-ray media.
Capacity: 25GB Single layer
MID: VERBATIMc

I haven't tested myself but reports state that it will burn at 6x on LG GGW-H20N.

However LG GGW-H10N firmware 1.02 only shows support at 2x!

I received them in an unmarked spindle and no packaging info.

The VERBATIMc burns nicely at 4x in the Sony BWU200S

Does anybody know what the price of these bad boys are going to be? Are they going to be available in 5 packs or greater? $13 a pop for the first generation BD-R (or even these new ones) is still not worth it. Well, for me at least.

4x panasonic is 9.99 in some stores, so hopefully around the same price
