Blu-ray and HD DVD Hardware, Software and Blank Media Discuss, MSI brings first gfx card with HDCP at International Chat: High Definition forum; As the title says, MSI brings the first gfx card (NX-7600-HD) with an HDCP compliant hardware. I thought the first one would come from Sapphire or TUL, but it doesn't look so.

Me too! I don't know what TUL is but if not ATI I thought NVIDIA would.

ATI (MSI) is Nvidia based. I just bought the ATI RX1600 XI Pro 256mbs. Great card, now I have to get it not to flicker on start up.

Re: MSI brings first gfx card with HDCP

No idea who or what TUL really is, I just read that info in the latest c't mag.
They surely have their sources and it was presented/announced on a fair.

Sapphire announced a X1600xxx card with HDCP compliancy on the CeBiT this year.

@ chef: I thought you might be interest what TUL is
http://www.digitimes.com/news/a20060508PR201.html
Taiwanese graphics card maker TUL is making a name for itself in the competitive PC ... MSI's RX800PRO-TD256 does not vary much from the ATi-based card.

The card in the OP is a 7600GT, an Nvidia GPU. I believe MSI has produced cards based on both companies' (ATI & Nvidia) GPUs.

I am very sorry, I mean't to say that my Motherboard Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe was Nvidia based not the graphics card, my mistake.

Re: MSI brings first gfx card with HDCP

No problems, alan.

Seems that the MSI card are now out and available, as 7600 and 7900 version, but without HDMI but only DVI-D...
