Nice to see more and more hi-def stuff with new (low) prices.

Lot's of people will need it for their HTPC (Home Theater PC) and so on. You can store your movies, photos etc in your terrabytes HTPC and play them back without needing to insert any disc.

very "interesting" front plate, but for about 50-60 dollars more you can get BD/HD-DVD Rom from LG

Actually 179Euro = US$260.

Everyday price on LG GGC-H20L BD/ HD DVD ROM is US$299 but it was on sale at BestBuy last week for US$225.
