@teng1207, do you have the drive? Does it allow to scan BD media with CDSpeed?

The CD-DVD Speed or DiscSpeed 4.10.3.0 seem to be not scan BD media .

Did you try 4.7.7.15? I read that it can.

My mechine is PHILIPS BDD1001 , I crossflashed it to Lite on DH-4B1S.
I am tried it with the CD-DVD Speed 4.7.5.0~4.7.7.15 or DiscSpeed 4.10.3.0 , but it seem to be not work.

I think the CD-DVD Speed has not been supported Lite-on DH-4B1S.

The BD-ROM is supported, AFAIK.
The burner not yet.

My PHILIPS BDD1001' firmware is 7P52, so I try to upgrade to 7P53 successfully.

Since March 2008 are there any news about DiscSpeed 4.7.7.5 being able to do quality scans on BD-R and/or BD-RE's with this Lite-on DH-4B1S burner and it’s latest firmware (still 7P53 ?)

In general how many BD burners (not being only BD-ROM readers) are able to do reliable quality scans under Nero DiscSpeed 4 ?
