| HD-DVD/Blu-Ray Storage - binders safe? I was wondering - are my current DVD binders & sleeves fine for storage of HD-DVD and Blu-Ray media? Or are the new, high-def media more likely to be damaged by storing them this way? - Tim |

I store CDs and DVDs in binders, because I have so damn many of them I couldn't not (in my small apartment). :-/ The DVDs don't appear to get scuffed or scratched, though the CDs occasionally do, for some reason. I haven't noticed the DVDs playing any less well, though. I wonder if the HD-DVD/Blu-Ray's will... you'd think they'd have even more protective coatings and better error correction with these new technologies. - Tim | |

| Re: HD-DVD/Blu-Ray Storage - binders safe? BD/ HD DVD recordable media has it own protective coatings so it is binder safe. But nevertheless, it's expensive compares to CD/DVD so like others have mentioned, I would put them in a single case. While we're at it, there are BD/HD case ($.75 each): http://www.sleevetown.com/blu-ray-hd-dvd-case.shtml
