| HD-DVD backups I was wondering is it possible to rip HD-DVDs using a standalone player connected to an HD-capable PC along with AnyDVD HD? In essence I'm asking if you can use a standalone player (like the Toshiba HD-A30) instead of the XBox 360 HD-DVD addon for ripping the disc to my PC (ie will my PC recognize the HD-A30 as a drive and allow me to rip from it)? I tried searching the forum but couldn't really find an answer. Everything I've seen references the 360 HD-DVD addon. Thanks. |
