Maybe it only recognises 8800s, not "obsolete" cards like 7950s. :-)

Mine isn't either.

Only my Windows XP SP2 is compliant for HD-DVD and Blu-Ray playback.

Looks like I'll have to buy a new computer if I want the Blu-Ray and HD-DVD compatibility. Obviously, I'm not gonna be stupid enough to buy a new PC when both formats are still around. I'm going to wait for one of them to die first. Then maybe I'll buy a new PC when one of the formats becomes more popular than the DVD.
