Buying a BD-Burner! Which to buy? (GGW-H20LI vs. BWU200S vs. Other?) - Club CDFreaks

Need some help folks! I am buying a BD burner shortly, and need some advice and recommendations on a good BD burner. I have seen some good reviews and feedback from people who own a GGW-H20LI and the Sony BWU-200S burners, but was wondering if there were others to consider, or if anyone had any preferences on a certain burner.
(Dual BD and HD-DVD capability is not needed...I only really need a BD burner)
I am looking for something in the $600 or lower if possible. THANKS!

p.s. also if there are suggestions on where (Online - U.S.) to buy, it would be great!

The Sony BWU 200s is really the best Bluray burner out there if you won't consider the LG GGW-H20L. Its about 600.00 USD but from the reviews I have read it works great. I am sure there will be others soon, but if you need it now, The Sony BWUs200 is great.

I just opened my Dell XPS (gen 3) and see that my RAID drives are taking up my 2 SATA slots.... and the current 2 DVD drives (which i was gonna swap out) are IDE

Does this mean I cannot use the Sony BWU200S since it is SATA? (sorry, i assume you own one)

If you have an open slot you might consider a PCI Sata controller card. Keep your eyes open, your CDFreaks review team should be publishing their review of the Sony BWU200S shortly.

Just a Heads Up,...... For the early Adopters:
You can order the "LG GGW-H20L" BD writer-BD/HD Rom reader-DVD writer/reader....from Fry's web page online phone number.
ask for "PLU" number #5360008.
This is not on their web site as of yet....they have 6 in stock at $399.99.

I would not call this a Bargain Basement posting, but for those who have got to have it, it just might be!

because of the price, as soon as they hit the store, those drives disapear.

but sometimes they apear on bestbuy.com and fry's has them in stores.

It's nice to see this burner finally sold continually at more than one online store. Not like frys.com and bestbuy.com, which had it available for about 8 seconds before they all sold out.
