Waiting drives to hit the 100 $ mark and media at 2 $ mark

I would never buy a burner and its media at these prices

Also , when drives are around 100 $ , the speed would be 8X or something

Edit : OMG , the retail box looks very sexy :

I paid that for my first Plextor 8x cd writer
